From January to May 2020, the import volume of epoxy resin reached 124568.02 tons, and the average monthly import volume was 24913.60 tons, an increase of 3.53% year-on-year.

Although the epidemic had a great impact during the period, domestic support for costs, slow start-up loads of major liquid resin factories, and optimistic demand from the downstream wind power industry led to tight spot supply from each factory. As China’s first consumer country, imports Is in an increasing state.

According to statistics of customs data, Taiwan from January to May 2020 is still at the top of the list, with imports accounting for 35.29%, followed by South Korea and the United States, accounting for 25.74% and 12.10% respectively. The export volume is 4786.15 tons, accounting for 24.35%, followed by Vietnam. At 2344.37 tons, accounting for 11.93%. Due to the global epidemic, the downstream and terminal demand is sluggish, but domestic demand in the wind power industry has supported the major liquid resin markets, which have shown tight commodity prices and high prices, resulting in a reduction in imports. From January to May 2020, the same period last year compared with the number, it is reduced by 24.80%. In 19651.70 tons, the export volume decreased by 13.25% year-on-year, and decreased by 24.80% compared with the same period last year.
