In March, Lithuanian exports increased by 9.6% month-on-month, and imports increased by 5.1% month-on-month. The increase in exports was affected by the increase in exports of grains (230% increase), medicine (47.7%), plastics and products (15.7%), and the export volume of disinfectants produced in Lithuania increased by 6.9 times. The increase in imports was affected by the increase in imports of chemicals (200%), machinery, appliances and parts (12.4%), and medicine (24%).
In March, Lithuania imported masks (2.4 million euros), test kits (2.8 million euros), and disposable medical gloves (1.2 million euros) from China. Lithuania ’s imports from China increased by 18.7% from last month.
